Recently I was asked to customize Cara’s 2-layer, square wedding invitation (shown below) into a first communion invitation.

The main change was to use blue paper & ribbon, so to make sure that both matched perfectly I used bluebell from paper-source. Since the ribbon width available was smaller, I suggested that we change the ribbon embellishment to a knot with the ends tucked under the card layer (as shown on krysta’s invite).
Finally, I added a ghosted cross illustration to the metallic white card printed with blue & grey ink. I love how easy my wedding invites can be personalized for any event!

Hi can you tell me how can i get the ghosted cross illustration to use in my daughter’s communion invitation
Thanks
hi! I created the cross illustration then lowered the opacity in my design program to show ‘ghosted’ behind the wording. I can always provide you with a custom designed DIY printable file if interested, see my etsy listings for more info! THX ~L
