There’s so much creativity that goes along with planning a wedding or event. You can choose a specific theme or add in one unique personal touch. I love the new ‘bar stations’ that are popping up on many Pinterest planning boards; from the make-your-own-drink and pour-your-own beer bars, to the donut and popcorn bars [just to name a few]. All you need is a great way to display your favorite beverage, dessert or snack, along with some lovely signage and you’re set to impress your guests!
*there are too many fun ideas to showcase 🙂 see below for more inspiration:
While searching for a past clients wedding day photos, I came across these stunning images …thank you social media! Congrats to Andie & Augie, married on September 10, 2016 at Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, California. [photography by Mémoire Studio].
We customized my square, booklet-style pocket folder invitation suite by incorporating their navy, blush & beige theme colors. For the reception stationery, we picked up all the design details from the invites onto the menus, seating cards, and program fans (Andie tied her own ribbon embellishment onto the fan sticks)! I also love that we added the gold-glitter card stock to the escort tent cards & menus, a very glamorous touch.
Congrats to Kate & TJ, married May 7th 2016 at the University Club of San Francisco! I designed their full stationery suite from the save the dates to invites, and finally reception cards. I’m so thrilled that they sent me a few gorgeous photos from their big day to showcase!
After their save the dates were sent out [see below], Kate & TJ wanted to customize my SF city skyline wedding invitation suite. We changed the paper colors and fonts, and moved the skyline to the top of the 5×7 invite card.
We also carried on this design style & paper color combo for their reception stationery; table signs, large format program, and 2-layer escort tent cards!
Congrats to Michelle & Raphael, married on August 22, 2015 in Santa Monica, California! Uyen, from Sassy Girl Weddings, first asked me to design their Save the Date postcards incorporating blush & gold colors. For the reception at Casa Del Mar, we needed glamorous stationery to complement the venue and the couple’s romantic theme. Below are just a few stunning photos [by Sun & Sparrow] showcasing not only the escort, table & menu cards printed on soft blush metallic finish paper with dark gold ink accents, but some incredible inspiration of Uyen’s wedding planning expertise!
Congrats to Eilleen & Ron, married on September 20, 2014 at Casa de la Vista on Treasure Island [with the lovely San francisco skyline as their backdrop].
I personalized my invitation suite to showcase the city skyline with bay bridge [as seen from their venue] along with their color theme which was champagne, fuchsia and accents of antique gold. When it was time to create the reception stationery, we easily picked up the design and metallic papers to match.
I love all the wedding details they added to bring together their city / island theme… especially the wedding cake which incorporates both [orchids + skyscrapers].
It seems like yesterday when we started the custom design process on their wedding invitation suite. We first created a ‘Paris skyline’ illustration [where he proposed!] on their personalized monogram & all-in-one guest/return address label wraps. Combined with stylish typography and swirl graphics we incorporated a color palette with hues of blush & taupe [enclosure cards printed on a pale pink/coral metallic paper]. I just love how the whole wedding day follows this romantic color theme so perfectly!
Thanks to photographer Gustavo Fernández [along with naomi], I’m able to share these wonderful wedding day photos & planning inspiration! I loved customizing my san francisco skyline invitation to complement their venue location (we replaced the bay bridge with the golden gate bridge). They also personalized the metallic paper colors to match their color theme.
OH MY GOSH! I’m Super excited about the monogram on the cupcakes!! 😉
We used Kara’s cupcakes (I’ve always been a huge fan of their cupcakes, so it worked perfectly to have them for our wedding). They will do the custom monogram for $1 per cupcake, and they have those cute six-inch cakes so you can still “cut the cake” but serve your guests cupcakes too. (At one point, our youngest flower girl was storing cupcakes in her flower girl basket) 🙂 ~naomi
I assisted in designing & printing the wedding programs, but Naomi made her own CD wedding favors & escort cards to match!
We created various reception stationery pieces for their big day; table & dessert tents, cocktail & dinner menus for frames, escort tents + seating cards for the place settings, along with welcome cards & thank you tags… all customized to match their invitation design. I really enjoy seeing that it all came together beautifully! (with thanks to their inventive event planner, Freida, too).
